University of Waikato College is your route to the University of Waikato and you can enjoy the flexibility of beginning your studies online or onshore to fit your situation. You will transfer to face-to-face classes in New Zealand once you are ready to enter the country.
Our programmes are designed specifically for international students to ensure you get the best start to your studies at the University, whether you study online or on campus.
We offer a choice of foundation and diploma programmes providing you the preparation you need for undergraduate or postgraduate study. Specialist teachers will support you to develop the core study skills, subject knowledge and English language level you need to succeed.
We also offer a range of English language preparation courses to help you improve your language skills.
Upon successful completion of your programme, you will be able to progress to a choice of degrees at the University.
Certificate of University Preparation
A one-trimester programme for students who already have a New Zealand secondary school qualification but need additional support to meet the entry requirements for degree programmes at the University of Waikato.
Foundation Studies
